Let’s answer some questions about using Manychat with a scheduler like the Meta Business Suite, Tailwind, Hootsuite, Metricool, and more!
What is ManyChat?
First off, if you don’t know what ManyChat is, I guarantee you’ve experienced it. If you spend any time at all on the internet, ManyChat is that auto linking service where somebody comments something, it dms them with a link. ManyChat does so much more than that, but that’s probably what you’ve run into it for.
How to Use ManyChat with a Scheduler
When you’re using ManyChat with a scheduler, you can either preset your keywords ahead of time, or you can go in and add the automations after it goes live. Either one totally works. I personally prefer to plan ahead of time as I batch my content for the month! Here’s what that process looks like:
- Plan content
- Create images/video
- Select unique keywords for ManyChat
- Schedule in system of choice
- As you schedule, put the keywords in the call to action for each post!
So when I’m planning my content for the month, I know these are my top products, these are my top blog posts. This is where I’m gonna be sending people. That’s why I’m creating content for it! so what I’ll do is I’ll think ahead of time and decide what keywords do I want people to use. As I’m batching my content, I head over to ManyChat and create those automations ahead of time.
KEY POINT: Use really specific keywords that people are not likely to use in random comments! You don’t want those automations firing off randomly.
This way you can have your automation set up weeks ahead of time, and then you don’t even have to worry about when your post goes live because it’s gonna be all set.
