Growing your Email List on Instagram

You KNOW I couldn’t share a blog on growing your list and not talk about Instagram! Using your social media is a great way to grow your email list. Click here for my free challenge!
Use Pinterest
Pinterest isn’t dead. I don’t think it’s anyone’s FAVORITE platform anymore, but it’s not dead! Create images that lead to your landing page to encourage sign ups and pin them to related boards.
Share your Opt In on your Blog
There are many ways you can grow your email list on your website, if you own one! You could add a pop up, embed forms into blog posts, even create entire landing pages dedicated to your freebies. I highly recommend adding your opt in on your blog wherever you can, and it should have a space in the hero section of your website so people see it first thing.
Network in Related Facebook Groups and Forums
Some Facebook groups and online forums have policies against sharing products, but most of them don’t have rules about freebies! Always check the rules for the group first, but if you’re allowed, sharing your free opt in in a niche Facebook group or forum is a great way to grow your list.
Host a Giveaway
Every time TPT has a sitewide sale, they give TPT authors gift cards to giveaway to promote the sale. Sign up for the gift card, then use your gift card to host a giveaway to grow your email list. You could also collaborate with other authors in your niche to host a sale or giveaway event on your own!
A quick note – be sure if you participate in a group event that you are familiar with the terms of service for your email service provider. Many do not allow list shares. Instead, entries will have to sign up for each list individually.
