Often before a sitewide sale, TeachersPayTeachers gives us (teacher authors) gift cards to give away to our audience. I wanted to share 5 ways to give away the gift card as part of your sales promotions!

5 Ways to Do a Giveaway
Use your Note to Followers on TPT
TeachersPayTeachers gives us a way to communicate with our followers through the note to followers tool. You can use this to host a giveaway for your followers! Remember, a very important piece of hosting a giveaway is being able to deliver the prize so if you choose to use your note to followers make sure you send them to something like a Google Form or your Instagram so that you have a way to connect with them to give them the prize!
Create an Instagram Post
If you post on your Instagram feed, you can encourage your followers to like, comment, tag a friend, or share a post to enter the giveaway. You could also send them off of Instagram to your email list as a way to enter!

Instagram Story Engagement
You could also create an Instagram Story and have your audience use one of the engagement stickers, respond to a poll or a question, or have them respond to the story!
Choose an Email Subscriber
If you have started your email list, you can always choose an email subscriber! You could just pick someone from your list, or you could have your subscribers do a certain action in order to enter. For example, you could have your audience click a link, open the email, or reply to you in order to enter.
Make a Facebook Post
Similar to your Instagram feed, you could share about the giveaway on your business Facebook page! Here’s the Facebook page for info on how to host a sweepstakes or giveaway and make sure you’re following the rules of the platform.
